Where do I even enable freesync with my nvidia GPU?

mxk

Hey all,

I was kind of confused this morning when I looked at how to enable the driver to let me use freesync with my gtx 1070 ti. I updated the driver that had today's date labeled on it, andI looked at my monitor, and it said adaptive sync was on but I didn't see any options in the nvidia control panel to enable it.

I probably went too fast since I had to go to school, but does anyone know how I'm supposed to go about enabling freesync with my 10 series card?

Thanks.

Have you checked if your monitor is Nvidia certified? There are only a small amount of freesync monitors that can be used by Nvidia cards.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I remember hearing that the nvidia certified monitors would get it automatically enabled, where as other people with other freeysnc monitors would have to manually enable it.
