Hey,I want to build my first PC but I think I need help

Freuwanter

So here whe are,I want to build my first desktop PC,but i am not sure if I am rly doing it right. And I need a case for it.

So this is what I am thinking about:

GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 amp edition https://www.zotac.com/il/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gtx-1060-amp-edition

CPU: Maybe a i3 8100 or a i5 8400 but what would be better?

Motherboard: MSI H310M Pro-VDH https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H310M-PRO-VDH.html

Ram:  Corsair vengeance LPX 16 https://www.amazon.de/Corsair-Vengeance-2666MHz-Performance-Arbeitsspeicher/dp/B0123ZC44Y/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1547488230&sr=1-6&keywords=corsair+vengeance+lpx+16gb

Power Suply:Bequiet Systempower 9 500W https://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/1280

I think this should be all,but would you change something with it and which case would you recommend

As Memory I will use a standard ssd and a hdd

Pcpartpicker.com will make it a lot easier for you to make an organized list.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Looks fine. I'd maybe see what RX580's are going for where you live, might be cheaper and you might get some free games as well.

The 8400 would be a better choice if you can afford it.

I wouldn't get an MSI motherboard.

As Memory I will use a standard ssd and a hdd

GPU: get a 580 instead

CPU: get a 2600/1600 instead

motherboard: get a b450 (amd) or b360 (intel) instead

ram: would go to 2800+ mhz

psu: anything else around there? it's pretty old already. psu tier list helps you here, tier c+

case: mb511 (rgb), focus g, h500 (cooler master), meshify c, just to name a few

I've had nothing but problems with MSI boards for multiple generations. I will never recommend an MSI motherboard.

so? do you want the best value or not?

the 2600/1600 is a amd ryzen hexa core hypertreaded cpu that outperforms the 8400 in a lot of tasks, and still costs around 150-170 bucks. the 580 is on par with a 1060, but is cheaper, ram speed increase is a bit more performence on intel, but a lot on ryzen, h310 are basic level motherboards and imo a b360 would fit much better. the b450 is a amd chipset that i would recommend with those ryzen cpus. the psu is old, so i would recommend changing it to or a cheaper or a better alternative, and you asked for some case recommendations, so i listed a few

as they are normally cheaper for as much or more performence, yes.

there are many, xfx sapphire asus gigabyte and msi have some good ones, tho i wouldn't choose any single fan design, the gigabyte windforce or msi armor. other ones from the aboved mentioned companies are really good imo
