What kind of pc, am I looking for?

Hyoryuji

I would like to apologize cause of my english cause I'm not a native english speaker, if I'm not clear I will try to say it in a different way.

My father wants a pc, that would be able to perfom up to 6 4k TV's with picture and videos. I would like to know, what graphics card to get, would i need a ssd card, and what processor should i get?

This is mostly so he could show to his friends some pictures and videos of his travels.

Unless he went to the moon, no one cares about seeing his holiday photos and videos on 6x 4k screens. Just do what everyone else does and upload it to his preferred social media account and save his money.

I think it will be his videos and photo from this smarthphone as well as his cameras, they are all on 4k. I would game yes to be honest haha if is possible. But the main purpose would be for him to use as his main pc, with a lot of space to put all his videos and photo, and for him to watch a video on youtube i would say, but he really want to be able all his TV's to show at the same time those videos and photos.

He would be willing to spend a fair amount to do that, as long as those TV's works simultaneously and in 4k.

I showed to him a pc, with 30TB, 2 or 3 ssd, a RTX 2070, i7 coffee lake, can't remember now exactly which one was it would be a more or less 5k USD and he said he would be willing to spend that if it would do the job.

simply because a single 2070 will NOT be able to push 6 4k TVs at once...

You'll need all the VRAM you can get, you might even want to skip ahead of the 2080ti and go to a Quadro

you'll need some hefty quadros and sync cards for it if you want to do it properly for that setup, you can technicly get away with less, but a gpu only goes up to a certain total resolution, and a single one isn't going to cut it

i would say 2-3 quadros, a sync card, a hedt or treadripper chip (or even xeon/epic), 64 gigs seems fine, a motherboard that can support 3 or 4 way nvlink, a shitton of ram, and one heck of a psu...

If you're running multi-monitors like that, it might be better to not use an SLI setup. SLI is really only for gaming, and doesn't work well across monitors.

You don't need a ton of ram, 32 gigs tops unless you're doing video editing. How much storage do you need? There isn't really a reason to get 3 SSDs. And you probably don't need 30 TB of storage either, unless you have that many photos and videos. You could even get something prebuilt, as long as it has enough outputs. No need for a super high end card there.

About the 30TB yeah he have tons of photos/videos, already closing up on 6tb, he said that now he will start travelling more so, i think 30TB is reasonable. About the SSD i thought cause of the multi high quality image and video that he would need some ssd, beside he said he might learn editing some videos, to make sort of best moments and things like that.

to be honest i thought that might help, cause i thought well, one gtx 1080 may give 2 max 3 4k monitors so I may need some more graphic power.

those quadros are pretty salty lol, those graphics cards aren't those for video editing? Can you game in one of those?
