Which channels do I put RAM into”

I just got the Z390 Gigabyte Aorus Pro MB and it comes with 4 slots for ram. I have 2x 8Gb 3200 MHz DDR4 Ram. Which two slots out of the four do I place them in?

check the manual, if i had to guess the 2nd and 4th slot.

They're usually color coded, and the non black are the primary slots.

I have the same motherboard, put it in the second and fourth slot, or slots DDR4 A1 and DDR4 B1.

that implies either slot is fine, but usually the main slots are better, do what @fasauceome said and use the non-black ones.

yeah, sorry I actually contradicted myself when I said the slot names and numbers. 1st and 3rd, sorry! If this doesn't work, then try 2nd and 4th. I'm pretty sure 1st and 3rd should be it.

Hey I’m having issues installing a NZXT Kraken X72. I need a USB 2.0 Pin but my case already uses up one. How many USB 2.0 Pins does the Aorus Pro have?

It should have more then one, its not a tiny motherboard. This is ripped off the newegg spec's for the motherboard, it says it should have 1 more USB 2.0 header, I think you'll just have to find it.

Hey sorry to bother you again but my AIO kind of blocks the 1st ram slot. So I put it into the 2nd and 4th. Would there be any issues in doing so?

Yeah, you need the RAM to run in dual channel mode. I know it may not be aesthetically pleasing, but rotate the AIO block so the tubes aren't blocking the slot.

What would happen if I left it in the 2nd and 4th slot?

I don't think the PC would boot to BIOS, and if it did the RAM wouldn't be running in dual channel. You want the RAM to run in dual channel since it's faster.
