Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti

If you hate having money then go with either of those, if you want the same results with an extra $60 to spend elsewhere then pick up two of these and stripe them together. For a game library where you can easily replace all of the data I wouldn't bother with spending more money than you need to.

The MX500 is a bit faster than the WD Blue SSD, so I'd go for former.

Just get a pair of 1TB SSD, and use RAID 0 if you want more speed. Better price per GB there.

I already have two SSDs (albeit small) and three HDDs. I'm removing a HDD to replace with SSD.

 

Board is Maximus IX.
