I tried and at 5.0ghz cpu can handle 3700mhz ram

at 5.1ghz cpu it handle 3600mhz max.

is the problem stable issue or could a better mobo pretend this ?

Sometimes when pushing those higher clocks you will need to sacrifice ram speed. I think this is just going to be one of those times.

I use asus rog strix z390e mobo, on the bios i selected 3600mhz

When i go higher mhz the pc doesnt sturtup how can i fix it ?

btw i use i79700k 5.1ghz cpu

You really don't need 4266MHz RAM. 3600 is enough.

Please, just save yourself the trouble of overclocking your RAM to that sort of frequency and leave it at 3600.

It may be XMP that's causing it, but still I feel like 3600 is fine.

1.35 is safe

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Probably a voltage issue. Make sure you are selecting the correct voltage for the ram.

it goes auto to 1.40v

Ok looking online it appears that ram needs 1.45v to run at 4266. 1.4v for 4133 and 1.35v for 4000

Are you overclocking your cpu too? If so the high ram speed could be causing stability issues.

cpu is oc at 5.1ghz , how much can i push the cpu before 4266 fails ?

My bet would be you won't be able to run 4266 with that clock. CPU clock will do more than ram anyways. Now just try to see at which point it WILL boot. I would try 4000

Could also be that your 5.1ghz OC isn't really stable, but that is a different issue entirely.
