I would advise against it.

 

i used to play it, its overrun by bots, using up all the land for housing and farms. rather unplayable in that repsect for the average player.

You will find most F2P MMO's will have some kind of twisted game mechanic that links to MTX's in some way, as soon as that happens bots swoop in to snatch it all up and make money from it.

 

ArchAge suffers from this, with farmable 'private' land all used up and bought within a second of going up for sale. 'open' land can be used to farm on, but what you grow on it can be 'stolen' by other players, thats why u will find tree farms and the like in odd places like hard to reach mountain tops.

 

The game can be played wihtout getting into farming, but that means you r gunna have to buy resources instead of growing them.

 

Though to be fair, i havnt played it in a long while, it may have changed ..though unlikely.

 

The last mmo i played was Buy to play, Black Deser Onlinet.  Its a great game imo BUT suffers form a lack of PVE endgame.
