What harddrive should i get?

My current harddrive is dying on me. what hard drive should i get? i do gaming, picture editing,etc. but mainly gaming.

Get an ssd not a hard drive.

there's no reason to still use a hard drive in 2018

Why would you need multiple ones? Just buy one big one.

Do you recommend any? because my current hard drive is 3 years old and i can feel it's dying already.

No i did test it there's already bad sectors to it. any big ssd recommendation?

get an 860 pro 500gb or 1tb. These things are fast af(tho not as fast as nvme drives lik the 970 evo which you said u dont need)

I am asking if i need the speed or not. I do gaming and editing so not sure which one will fits my need?

For games and editing you do not. Only windows load times amd file tranfers will be faster. Games are not able to harness the super fast speed of nvme ssds. Get a sata 860 pro.

Well when i moved my games to the ssd the pre load of the maps were much faster than the hard driver i was loading before everyone else.

ssd cannot be compared to hdds, they are faster on an entirely new level. Also ssd are less pro to failing or dying and generally have longer lifespans
