Pc not showing anything on monitor after ram oc.

Hey there, I ran into a huge problem. I tried to OC my ram via MSI memory try it in the bios. It ran 2800 MHz fine so I was like let's try 3000. I restarted and nothing, no bosd, no bios. I tried reseating everything except the cpu. I cleared the CMOS. When the I start the pc, I can see the cpu and dram led flash really shortly. Than the lights go out and the fans keep running. When I press reset the cpu led flashes again than right after I let go of the reset button the dram led lights up and shortly after they go out again. Can anyone help me with this problem? Did I get my ram? My parts:Ryzen 1600 OCD to 4.0ghz (been this way for months), MSI b350 pc mate, ballistic Lt sport single stick 16gb. Gtx 1070.

unplug the CMOS battery?

try holding the reset button, i entered the wrong setting in my friends BIOS and resetting CMOS did nothing, which was really weird, but holding the reset button worked.

Thx my man or woman, I would hug you to death if you were here right now. I thought resetting CMOS and removing the battery did the same thing.

Yeah, I have seen this glitch a few times where the CMOS jumper/button doesn't seem to do it's job... that's why I also recommend taking battery out now as it's a more reliable way of doing it.

the reset switch on my board doesnt work, that's why I recommend the battery method. The switch should do that otherwise.
