mi home security camera Any Good?

I need camera for office. Xiaomi got very cheap mi home security camera. 

 

Can you recommend it?

I recommend D-Link cameras. They have standard video output that you can handle by any software, not only dedicated one.

TP-Link, Xiaomi etc., especially cheap models, have access only using dedicated software. No standard MJPEG direct IP output. You must using their own cloud software.

 

All cheap cameras are really strange - may work or not, depends on luck. If you're not using motion detection or automatic light change (day/night) etc. it may work forever without restart. If you're lucky - even with those functions everything will work good.

I only use hikvision poe cameras. I am not sure what type of camera you are after usb etc, i guess if its close then 4mp will be ok if larger area i wouldnt use anything less than 6mp.
