Are those Temps ok?

So I bought myself an Hp pre-built desktop pc. When I finally got it I downloaded Overwatch and opened geforce exp. to fit the perfect settings for gpu. Than I downloaded precision x evga and realised that my gpu has 82C on those settings and I am worried if this will somehow damage or even destroy the card. Its a gpu blower type.

 

My PC parts are:

i7-8700

gtx 1070

16gb ram

It won’t destory it. Not by any means. But 99.9% of HP computers thermal throttle on the GPU because of that CRAP cooler they use.

laptops normally run a bit warmer.

So i set the fan curve and those temps got way lower they were like on 66. But for that i cant hear the game i am playing

I will also buy a new case fan and a cpu cooler since the once in the case arent good at all

Prebuilt desktops are pretty much crap when it comes to cooling and the GPU being a blowerstyle version is even more crap.

But the temps are perfectly fine for blowerstyler GPU's.

and i thought about and i will probably buy myself a new case a new mobo and a better cpu cooler and power supply and use the cpu and gpu from this pc and build with that a new one

Turn up the fans. Fe1080’s can sit in the 60’s. 70’s with bad airflow.

That case has absolutely poor airflow, so your components will run warmer, without a doubt.

...this is kind of expected for pre-built PCs...

 

To add, the blower / Founder's Edition cards do run hotter than an open cooler design GTX 1070.

 

You will need open up your computer case, and CHECK to see if you can even USE a new case.

With a lot of HP / Acer / DELL computers, they tend to use non-standard components (e.g. motherboard, power supply, etc).

If that applies to THIS computer, it won't be compatible with any of the ATX cases out in the market.

 

Looking at the back of the power supply, it doesn't look like to be the standard ATX form factor...
