I was planning on doing a build for the first time. 

 

Is it possible to get a better Radeon graphics card that offers the same performance per $?

Or any other suggestions for improving part selection,

 

In addition, do black Friday or Cyber Monday deals lower prices of parts that much? Like around 30% is what I am guessing, but it might be wrong.

And which day of the two has better deals?

Vega 56 at $370 is just as good value if you can afford it

Thanks! And does a plastic and fiberglass case melt if used in high temps? Or does that not matter that much?

the case doesnt like high temps your components reach, that's why the case never gets direct contact to them. It's fine.

What do you mean by not liking frame rates exactly?

I can get cooler off amazon or something, not in a rush to buy stuff.

 

But would there be good deals on black Friday though?

Ryzen just doesnt hit high frame rates Intel CPUs do even when CPU usage is far from 100%, mostly due to latency in the CPU itself is higher than that of Intel CPUs.

 

Black Friday could bring better deals to everything but the Vega 56. If anything I'd actually buy the graphics card now just in case it runs out of stock and the discount goes away.

Would getting a gpu off ebay be a good choice for cutting costs? Or is that too risky?

I wont say it's risky, but proper Vega cards arent cheap there. If they are, they are risky.
