Was this a good deal? I think so!

Recently I upgraded my PC to something new. I had been using an AMD FX8350 4.0GHz based rig for AGES and I thought now would be a good time to switch to an Intel based machine, SO I started the hunt

It didn't take long for me to find something ( I work in computer repair and get to know A LOT of people with computers ) and came across someone selling a Intel i7 5930K 3.5GHz gaming PC with a Radeon R7 370 2G Graphics card ( I took out my old EVGA 950 and used it in the new PC ( FULL BUILD HERE ) ) and asked him to name his price..... I ended up getting it for $375 USD..... Did I do good?

Well... It depends what you got with the rig/what you ended up using. But even if all you got was the CPU/MoBo/RAM, that's still a pretty good deal.

You did beyond good if you plan to actually sell each part individually.

Without the GTX 950, you could sell everything for a minimum of $855. With it, $905.

If you were to be patient, you could get as much as $1260 without the GTX 950. With it, as much as $1390.

These are very real numbers here. I did heavy research on each one of these parts.

Don't expect anything less or anything more. It's the approximate value of these parts.

Meaning that they WILL sell at these exact numbers if you planned to sell them.

Expect $855 quickly or $1260 over time. Without the GTX 950 that is.

Now for the performance of this PC gaming wise, expect to game in both 1080 and 1440p targeting 25-45 FPS in 1440 and 40-60 FPS in 1080p, depending on the game and how you set your individual graphic settings of course. The 25-60 FPS you could expect in a game like GTA 5 on ULTRA. So I would expect much higher FPS if you were to lower individual graphic settings.

These performance numbers are a rough estimate so take them with a grain of salt. The performance of a PC is in the hands of the owner.

All in all, you got an insane deal both value and performance wise.
