Xeon cpu

Do all 1156 motherboard supports xeon cpu's like the x3470?I searched for multiple 1156 motherboards(h55 or p55)I dont see any support for a xeon cpu.

Nope.

If it's not listed in the CPU support, then it becomes a gamble....maybe it will...maybe it won't

There's this channel in YouTube (Tech Yes City) that does 1156 Xeon upgrades. Check the videos below. The boards used are mostly Gigabyte and Asus.

With 1366 and 1156 the Xeons are rarely if ever listed yet work in most if not all Asus, Gigabyte and MSI boards. Other brands are less likely to work or only certain boards.
