Painting PC case need help

Go to solution Solved by NoRomanBatmansAllowed,

Normal spray paint should be fine.

Use at least 2 coats, but add more if you feel like it.

I have a Rosewill tyrfing, and I was wondering if it's a good idea to paint the inside of my case. It's black on the inside and outside I want it white. Should I use high temp spray? How many coats on inside and outside?

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Just a can or two should cover the whole thing?

I used plasti dip on my PC, ive been doing it for about 2 years, When ever you are tried of the color it is easily changeable (When you try to remove it)

Ive changed the color of my case 3ish times, I think it is a much better option the spray paint...

Your going to need to properly prep the surfaces by scuffing it with scotch brite or fine sandpaper before ideally applying a light primer. FOr the inside your going to get a fair bit of over spray unless you take apart the whole case by removing the rivets. As for the amount of paint and coverage it depends on the paint and color but usually around 3 can should be able to take care of it.

If you want more in depth details I have a guide that goes over this under Case Painting.
