The best 1080p display out there. Which models are they? Gaming vs Non-gaming.

mrchow19910319

I was thinking about buying a 1080p monitor right now. And I think that this one is the best when it comes to gaming at 1080p

Let's say that I am willing to pay big bucks to get the high end ones.

Which one do you guys recommend?

  • G Sync
  • 144Hz
  • what about panel? is PLS the best? Or mostly gaming monitors have TN panel...
  • what else can I look for?

Also when it comes to non gaming monitor, which one has the best viewing angel and great color ? I am not a professional... but still.

I want a monitor that looks as good as my old S2340L from Dell.. shouldnt have sold it.

Anyway, what do you guys suggest?

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

I want to downgrade to 1080p.

So what about these two?

For competitive FPSs, it's probably going to be something like the Dell Alienware AW2518H. Having a budget and use-case for the other monitor will help a lot to determine what's best for you.

300$ top. use case just casual gaming as well as general online browsing.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.
