Is my Hyper 212 evo compatible with a Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA?

I was browsing pcpartpicker, and a compatibility message was given to me:

The Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard.

Can anybody confirm this? Is the 212 EVO compatible or not?

I believe the 212 should have am4 brackets. You might want to consider a different mobo though, the ultra gaming doesn't have good vrms

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

My Hyper 212 evo didn't come with an Am4 bracket, if it doesn't then you can contact cooler-master and they will likely ship you one, free of charge, providing you have proof of purchase.

Doesn't an AM4 motherboard come with the bracket?

I attached a picture to show what I'm talking about.

Aftermarket coolers use their own mounting. Most of them. If you would pick something that uses push-pins, that would fit right to stock bracket, like stock cooler. But bigger towers require backplate to mount securely.

Depending on how new the stock is for retailers, it may or may not be updated to include AM4 mounting hardware. You can usually contact the seller for this info.
