What software to use

What software do I use to mine, I'm looking for something to mine bitcoin that does not have a GUI (performance reasons). I want to be able to either mine with the CPU or GPU or both. Any suggestions?

You don't mine Bitcoin with CPU or GPU. ASIC use is so entrenched in Bitcoin that not only is CPU/GPU mining obsolete, but older generation ASIC mining is obsolete.

I'm assume OP means they want to mine stuff and be paid in bitcoin. Not sure what's available either...

 

The other approach is to mine whatever is profitable for your hardware (maybe monero?) and then convert that to bitcoin later if that's what you want to hold longer term.

just google or youtube how to mine bitcoin, you got to make a wallet and get the software to start
