I found it, but what is it?

Hey everyone, this graphics card (I am about 97% sure of that at least) is missing a heat spreader and fan. Oh yeah, and I also don't know what kind of card it is. Anyone have any ideas? It's on a garbage pile at my university so I'm probably going to take it regardless, but any idea what it is?

And yes, my college uses Dell machines, and this is probably from one of those.

Looks like an ATI Radeon X300SE but if you clean the paste off the gpu there in the center we can see the serial stuff on it and tell you for sure.

seems like nothing worth phoning home about.

 

also, given that you found it in a garbage pile and the heatsink is missing, there is a high chance this thing is dead already. 

 

but then again, who can say no to a free graphics card these days.

Well, I'll pick it up and see if it even works. It would definitely be a step down, but hey, eBay is a hell of a drug.
