bug reporting..

Ran across a glitch in the system and have not seen a bug report area.. So, I'll report it here.

 

Upon editing a post and saving, the top of the site was gone. From post 1 down, it was all there but above that the header was gone and nothing but a blank area you can scroll up about a page worth.. Scroll scroll scroll.. Hey, there's nothing here..

It is most helpful to mods if you are able to tell them what browser (version) you are using and also if you were able to replicate the big in a consistent way.

Are you able to reproduce this? I've never seen it, or seen reports of it, before, so unless there's some way to make it happen again there's unlikely to be anything I can do.

I'll mess with it some this week it the test section and see if I can get it to do it again. Pretty much, the header borked when the page refreshed for the edit. Firefox, but you should know what browser I'm using.. Similar to something I saw on vB using a static header. I don't remember the cause, or the fix, as it's been awhile since I have worked on any sites.

 

I'll see if I can get it to do it again though. I think the problem on vB was from another add-on for security or something. Just can't remember.. Had to add an exception or some sort. Creating styles for forum products can be so much fun...

 

edit/ nope, not doing it now.. I think I had edited several time though as I kept finding typos..
