Is it possible to upgrade a 768p laptop display to a 1440p one?

I've got a Lenovo E42-80 laptop with i7 6567U and iris 550, the stock display of which runs at only 1366*768.:/ And its viewing angle is just awful. The display is attached through eDP 30pin. I'm thinking of replacing it with a 1080p or better, a 1440p IPS display. The Iris 550 should definitely be able to handle this, but will the eDP connection support this? How can I tell if the eDP cable supports the bandwidth needed by the higher-resolution displays?

PS: Lenovo also sells a 1080p variant of this model, but that variant has a i7 7500U.

I've seen where you can, but generally ONLY when there were several releases of the same-ish model. The same exact body is used; however, the more premium model has a more premium screen. Same connections, same physical size, just better resolution and such. Not sure off the top of my head how the resolution would translate from his screen to 1080 or 1440. Not sure if the math would support the aspect ratio or what not. But again, I've only seen it where the same body was used in several like-models.

You could always HDMI/DP out to a regular monitor couldn't you?

You can plug you laptop to a external GPU then connect to monitor.

You can buy a cheap cordless keyboard mouse ,

But usually when I use this laptop I'm on the move. I've got a desktop to use at home.

But I wish I can carry them around easily. Besides, it's not a gaming laptop, and it does not have thunderbolt:|

This is one of the first sights I found: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-for-Lenovo-ZHAOYANG-E40-30-E40-70-E40-80-E41-80-E42-80-14-0/32812345578.html

Not sure of the website, but there are definitely a couple. It seems there are plenty of cross-compatible models that are "like" yours. Amazon had a bunch of replacements, but you'd have to dig through each one to see if they would be legitimately for your device.

EDIT: Got nothing for 1440.

EDIT 2: I have to get going to bed, but here is my Google search criteria "zhaoyang e42-80 screen 1080 replacement"

You're not gonna catch me saying that this will work, but I believe it is close. I searched for "14" eDP laptop screen [insert resolution here]"

Thanks for your efforts, looks like I need to give up the 1440p option? Well, 1080p is also ok for me. But neither of the screens in the links provided details, so I don't know the exact model or/and viewing angle, colour etc.
