Noticed high CPU Usage after installing Honey (LTT Sponsor)

TDP_Equinox

So, fun fact i have installed the honey a couple of days ago, and had kinda the same problem with chromes cpu usage going well beyond average. Just removed it and everything is fine. I also think that its rather just a bug in their extension, however its weird seeing that it is a three year old thread. The first one to come up if you google it though, so it might be a rare bug then.

Either this new sponsor is shady af, or they just coincidentally got hacked in the last few days

i think it could be that they are just really fucking shady, how else would they earn the money to sponsor super expensive MR Beast videos all the time with a browser extension thats supposed to safe you money as well somehow.

They are owned by Paypal as of some point last year... They bought them for $4billion.

If you attach the source files, maybe someone will be able to reverse engineer it

I haven't had much luck with Honey and I tend to get aggravated when I use it. It doesn't find modern promotional codes (even common ones), it keeps showing me useless alternatives, and always finds an excuse an excuse to brag about it's usefulness despite never helping. Using google is more helpful and faster in most cases, so it's essentially useless even if you are lazy.
