People have told me to go onto the Dell Outlet but when i went onto it i couldn't a single laptop with dedicated graphics under £500.

Are there any other options you can find?

I have heard people get i7's, 8gb RAM, 1TB HDD and HD 7730M for £450 on the Dell Outlet store but i cant find that kind of deal.

I doubt that maybe on an extreme sale I would personally say the Lenovo Z500 but the HP does have a better gpu

I use a Dell Inspiron 15r that has 6gb RAM, an ivybridge i5 750 gb HDD and 7730M, I got it for £500, except for the fact that 7730M, does not work no matter what I try and I do use the catalyst control centre but makes no difference

Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.2Ghz | Evga GTX 780 Ti SC ACX with backplate | MSI Gaming 9 AC | 8GB (2x4) Corsair Vengeance Pro Silver 2400 MHz | Corsair H105 128GB Crucial MX100 | Toshiba 2TB | Evga 750G2 | Corsair Obsidian 750d | Be Quiet Silent Wings 2 PWM (3x140mm & 3x120mm)

Is the medion a bad brand or something?

It has the best GPU and no one is recommending that one.

Also if the budget increased to around £700 what is the best laptop I could get?

What does your local Craigslist look like? Personally, I would try for a used ASUS or MSI under warranty. ASUS' global warranty is pretty impressive.

Oneplus 6 | Sony 55" X900F . Lenovo Y540 17" 144Hz RTX 2060 . i7 9750h.

Audio-GD DAC-19MK3 > Schiit Lyr 2 + > FOSTEX TH900 . Sony XBA-Z5

As it is going to be a Christmas present i would rather have it to be new.

  • 2 weeks later...

the medion is pretty good, but the build quality is not the best (not really bad but not good either)

EDIT: from the last laptops go with the msi one
