WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY coming to Steam!

Stop the train, throw the bells, and hold those whistles! Square Enix has finally found the grace of the PC?!!!

 

It seems they have as World, sorry, WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY is coming to the platform on November 21st. This is exciting news as most of Square Enix's projects have been coming to Steam, but this makes more reason to think that they'll be bringing their future titles to PC from the get-go. Take my money, Square! And while you're at it, please make Dragon Quest/Warrior 1/2/3 for the PC. I'd pay in a heart's beat just to play the Loto trilogy.

Looks like we might actually be headed that way, after all. This is certainly exciting news as Square's console market has dwindled a few percent over the last few years. The PC community would be a good source of income for Square and it also means that they'll have more hardware power to work with.

What do you guys think of this development? Is this something that you expected to occur eventually or did it blindside you?

Having the beat the main portion of the game, it's ultimately the Pokemon variant of Kingdom the Hearts. Except with a good story and the designs of WoFF are almost uniformly the great.

That's actually why it was named Final Fantasy. Square had enough money for only one more project and named it such. Luckily, it was a massive success on the NES and made enough to save the company from bankruptcy.

First gen largely the sucked as well. A large portion of Poke-the-mon designs are hot garbage.

Most of the best designs come from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gens. I largely like all of the designs in the Pokemon franchise, exceptions being the whole of the 5th gen (seriously, an ant and badger? Half of them are just palette swaps.).
