That's the price of the FE card, this is a beastly aftermarket card with an unlocked power limit (150%)

The standard (non-extreme) version is only $679 which is pretty tempting at a full $100 less than a EGVA SC2, but with the Gigabyte card being a 3 slot rather than a 2 slot card it sure does look heavy and bulky by comparison, tough call. I really need to ditch my 550ti
