@Shadow_Storm56 in my experience the most horny kids who desperately want relationships watch too much porn, giving them false expectations of relationships. Stop rubbing for a week, and you’ll feel the difference. You don’t need or have to be in a relationship, it doesn’t really matter until you find someone you can love for their mind instead of their outside appearance.

Don't see how feeling depressed would make you gain weight even if you eat the amount of calories required for your normal body process. For example, why on Earth would you gain weight if you require let's say 1500 calories to live a day and that's all you eat. Even with depression ect your body still needs that amount of calories to live. It's going to consume that amount regardless of how you feel. Depression leads to weight gain because people who are depressed tent to eat comfort food or over indulge or both.

Links to reputable sites. Just being depressed =/= instantly gaining weight. In order to gain weight one must consume more calories then they eat. The body needs X amount of calories a day to just survive. Eating more then this amount increases body fat. This is basic level physical education class type stuff. Even people with slower metabolisms need X amount of calories. You have to find out what that is and either not consume more calories that that or add working out to your daily routine. These articles go into how 50% of depressed people over eat that doesn't include just turning your diet into fast food and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. While depression may make it so you eat more or seek out pleasure foods it's not going to make you just magically gain weight. If you disagree then accurately explain how I'm wrong.

 

Edit: depression may slow down your metabolic rate however it still can't make your body require less calories then it needs to survive. Combine that with over eating and eating junk it puts on weight. Other then metabolism it doesn't really have a direct link as everything else is personal choice.

So do girls matter no, does your boss being a dick matter no, does you current situation matter no, as long as you are alive you have everything you need. There are people who started from selling ice cream all day while they were afraid to get back home to their abusive parents and they ended up billionaires so stop being stressed, you are alive, that is all that matters. Stop caring about chicks, read up about men getting raped by women and that will kill your interest in women (just don't go too far). Ohh and sex toys will help a lot, I even find that they help reduce how often you masturbate, but I shouldn't be say this, FUCK.

Step 3: You have a good looking body, you have a great life, you dress well, you give yourself a good haircut, you have a nice suit, ect. You are a GOOD DUDE, interesting, funny, not too rich looking not too poor looking, just an average cool dude. You have hobbies, you have great friends, you always have goals, heck you have an adopted child and an adopted dog and you are the nicest dude around who went from nothing to get to the top.  OK NOW, it is likely you don't even care about women, or you would have found a women because you are a cool honest (everything I mentioned) dude, or if you STILL are not happy try looking for a girl chances you will get one with this lifestyle are 100X better.

 

That is What Comes Around's Guide on how to get a good life, stop caring about women, then getting the women because once you take care of yourself and you are not desperate you get the ladies yada yada yada and happy ending. Now excuse me while I go back to studying for the FUCKING EXAM I HAVE TOMORROW OR EVERYTHING I SAID IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME. GOD DAMN IT.

That's an excuse. Also ' starvation mode'  is a load of garbage and horseshit for 99%, that's only a 7% reduction in basal metabolic rate after about 3 days of total starvation too.

 

Go to reddit and then to the /loseit sub, that's a testament to how good calorie counting works. There are also extremely few outliers in metabolism, very few people actually have a slow or fast metabolism, they just overeat or undereat and don't realize their portions or kcal intake is NOT normal. Metabolism is about the same throughout people of the same gender and height. If you have more mass (fat or muscle) sure you resting metabolism is higher, but not by astronomical amounts, only a bit.

 

I'll discuss this all day with you, it's one of my interests and I properly educate myself and plan to study it in college next year as well.

 

You are right about cortisol levels, but they can be reset with a refeed day of sorts.

1. That they happen means you allow others to think that it is the norm, your wording is bad and you should feel bad.

2. Gaining confidence is perfectly achieveable if you work towards bettering your life. You say I can not be expected to be logical but it seems you have given up hope on any sort of improvement in your life, how sad.... gaining confidence by improving yourself and your life is a logical thing to do if you are in a shitty place mentally, which one may need to improve first.
