What OC can you hit on your Haswell Refresh??

I can kinda hit 4.5GHz on my 4690k. It loads up at like 90c. 4.6 i have to push 1.35 volts at it to even get it to boot, so 4.5 is max lol

 

Anyone else hit 4.6+???

My 4790k really likes 4.6 at 1.225v, or 4.7 at 1.28v.  I have not pushed further due to my limited cooler and my desire for silent operation.

How about love for Haswell-E? 

 

Got as high as 4.8GHz 1.31V. 

 

Daily: 4.7GHz 1.28V.

My daily on my 4790k is 4.7@1.27v, however I have hit 5GHz with it but couldn't maintain it as my waterloop wasn't up to the task. That should be fixed soon.

 

Edit: Validated proof just in case :p.

Considering the 4790K can turbo to 4.4 GHz stock (and non-z boards can force turbo on all cores), 200-300MHz does not seem like much of a bump tbh.

 

First option should not exist as all 4790Ks by default can turbo to 4.4 GHz, and so should not be considered an over clock.

Yes, I have a very modest OC on my i7.  I like to keep it that way in order to keep it cool and quiet.
