(Warning: Graphic) Anyone else experience debilitating constipation?

nicolas2465

So for the past 2 days I've been constipated as fuck, bloated, stomach pains, barely anything coming out.  I drank tons of water and watched what I ate, but to no results.  Today I got some natural laxatives and had some activia yogurt, still drinking water.  Nothing yet but I'm hoping for the best.  I've struggled with this in the past but it's never been this bad I don't think.  I've been regular for about a month with no problems, I usually go about 3 times a day but it's very easy and it doesn't hurt or bleed or anything so I think it's fine.  Do you have anything you would recommend?

#1. Consult a doctor. I don't think advice from a tech forum is the best place to find info on a medical problem. It's possible you have an impacted bowl. This can cause septic shock, and death.

#2. Increase the fiber in your diet.

#3. Try a stool softener. I had to take these after being on opioids (causes constipation) in the hospital.

Best Excuses:

#1(simple) "Well, I never liked that stupid thing anyway!"

#2(complex) "Obviously there was a flaw in the material, probably due to the inadvertent introduction of contaminants during the manufacturing process."

  • Increase your fiber intake by eating more fruits and vegetables.
  • Go to a gastroenterologist and ask why.

Try drinking more coffee.

Three times a day?! That's a lot, to me at least.

Another thing that might help is lactose powder. They usually give it to babies who have trouble with their stool. I used it when I had trouble with my hemorrhoids.

Yeah, that's what I mean.
