Leave side panel off? Chasis without case fans

Hey guys i came to realized that my chasis doesnt have any case fans, (will be buying one exhaust fan soon) however atm i have decided to leave my side panel of my chasis open for potentially cooler cpu temps? Is my action going to be of any help at all in terms of cpu temp? also can anyone recomend me a good case fan thats decently priced and 80mm ? tq

Leaving the side panel off helps, but if you want better cooling then you can try using a small table fan to blow air into the case through the side for the moment. This is actually more effective than putting on a case fan

What CPU/GPU do you have/ are they running hotter than comfortable? I think leaving it open will in any case improve the cooling situation compared to no fans but idk if it's really worth it depending on how hot your components are to begin with. If I'm not mistaken Jay did a video on this (and Luke too I think) so you may want to check those out :) I have no experience with them in particular, but there are some 80mm beQuiet fans which I think should be decent. (I have 3 of their 120mm models in my case and they're great).

Ryzen is pretty cool I guess

Is the power supply exhausting any air?  If so, your system should still be fine until you get the extra fan (if it isn't overheating, anyway).

As far as 80mm fans, I've personally had good luck with Apevia fans on the cheap end (although I've heard they can be hit and miss).

Enermax maglev fans are also pretty good, and they'll last longer than sleeve bearings.

And then you've got Noctua, which is pretty much the gold standard on quality.

If I were you, I'd use all the fans you're going to get (up to 3) as an intake. So long as there's a filter in front of that fan, it'll keep your system way cooler and prevent dust from entering through small unfiltered holes. Promoting Positive Pressure prevents faster dust build up and instead forces all the dust to through the filter for easier cleaning.

Ok, if the max temperature is 75C, then the system is at least safe with the power supply alone exhausting air.  An additional case fan will definitely help to drop temperatures to a more comfortable level.
