Fan controller

I'm looking for internal fan controller that does support at least 4 x 4pin connectors, and it also have USB header so I can connect it on motherboard and use some software to change my fans speed in Windows.

I used speedfan before, but it doesn't work on Ryzen motherboard, so it seems like I have to use some sort of fan controller.

 

NZXT GRID + V2 seems great, but it only has 3 pin connectors. Solution would be to buy 3pin to 4pin extenders", but that would just add more cables in my case.

Also not sure how does 4pin PWM fan work on 3pin connector.

 

Any ideas/suggestions?

That seems just the thing that I need.

It's kinda big and not cheap, but it does have all what I need.

Will look around if I can get anything a bit smaller anc cheaper, otherwise I will just buy this one.

a 3 pin would work on a 4 pin connector,same with vice-versa but u will have to see if any plastic is blocking it from fitting

Yeah plastic is in the way with GRID + V2 from NZXT ... I could use 3pin to 4pin adapter probbably. But then I would need to pay for that aswell. Might be cheaper then to just buy from corsair and have more than enough expansion slots lol

Work as in fit. But connecting 4pin to 3pin doesn't control PWM. It would still be like having 3pin fan.

I personally used the grid v2 for over a year and when I moved to ryzen I got all new 4pin fans. You can convert down to 3pin with y connector, but I ended up using my motherboard 4pin connectors with y cables and used asus ai suite to control fans. A benefit to this is it is much quieter, all my fans except for cpu can go to 0% when at idle. Just check max amp on 4pin headers and amp on fans when combining them.  If you have some other motherboard you can also use bios fan control.
