Do I need an Optical Drive to install drivers?

The review I watched on my motherboard (MSI - Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON ATX LGA1151 Motherboard) showed that the drivers were on a disk. Will I need an Optical Drive to install the drivers, or is there another way to get them onto a usb from the internet?

nope, you don't even need to install drivers, windows or linux will do that for you. Just install the os and it will automatically download and install drivers.

If you go to your motherboard's product page, there will be a drivers download section (normally under a support tab or something similar). From there you can download the drivers directly from the PC you're going to install them on or you can move them to a USB to install on the PC.

Don't bother with the ones on the disk, they'll often be out of date so it's better to get the latest ones from the manufacturer's website.

EDIT: Windows generally does a pretty good job of installing drivers itself, but it can miss some or get an older version.

Yeah, sometimes you need a driver for your motherboard's network interface.  You can have a hard time trying to download a driver if that's the case. :)
