Is this card any good?

its a refrence/founders design, so its not the best version of 1070, but it will still get the job done. non refrence coolers, will preform better in most cases.

Its a Championship not a Belt!

Yes, but if there is a non-reference card any cheaper or a bit more expensive than this GPU, I reccomend you get it.

The founders edition cars (whether packaged by Gigabyte, EVGA, MSI, who ever), run pretty good, but because of the cooler design do run quite a bit hotter than most other aftermarket cooler. Because it runs hotter, it also runs louder.

Founders edition cards can be fitted with a watercooler more easily though.

If you are not planning on watercooling, a blower style cooler (present on the FE card), might not be your best bet. These cards are really only good in cases with very limited airflow, as they take air in via the fan and spew it out the back of the cards, while most other GPU's also suck in the air at the fan, but usually spew it out in the case.

If you have enough airflow, the hot air spewed out into the case via the GPU is no big deal, while in very small cases it may be.

If you still want an FE cooler design, the differences between the Gigabyte, MSI, ASUS, etc. branded ones is just the company you would contact if anything goes wrong.

KFA2 makes good GPU's, this GTX 1070 looks like it doesn't disappoint either. Performance equal to most other GTX 1070's, while keeping noise levels down with a good overclock standard on it.

Those are great too.

But tbh, it will come down to what GPU's are still in stock, because I know the GTX 1070 videocards are kinda selling out quite fast as well.

The Gaming X cards from MSI are just about the best usually, but the EVGA SC/FTW/FTW2 are great as well.

Nowadays the difference in the cards is not huge, unless you just get a bad one.

I say this as a person also looking into getting a GTX 1070 (after looking into RX 580 cards and their different coolers) and didn't encounter a huge difference.

For example on one of the reviews I checked on the KFA2 card I saw it performed equal to the EVGA SC.

ok :D, is it worth getting 1080 instead of 1070?

If your budget allows for it and you are planning on running a 1440p 144Hz or 4K screen than yeah, but otherwise the GTX 1070 will suffice just fine. But nowadays the jump in price is not huge, so it may be good to consider.
