Looking for cheap upgrade suggestions please.

I have a amdAthlon 7850 dual core cpu with a gigabyte motherboard. Also 7gb ram ddr2. I upgraded my gpu to a gtx 960 and only really play Wow. On lowest settings i hit 30fps max in dalaran.

I'm a expecting father with my baby due in 3 weeks so a little tight on money..

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks !

A good solid upgrade that won't break the bank. Also congrats on the kid!

Since your only doing WoW you shouldn't need too much horsepower, im surprised you got those results with a 960, though i'm guessing your cpu is holding you back.

It's honestly kinda difficult to upgrade with that what with having to buy a new cpu, mobo, and ram. Though I'd check around on newer pentiums where theyre around $60~. Again with that you'd need a new mobo so you're looking at another $60~. After that you can't reuse your old DDR2 Ram you'll need DDR4 most likely so another $50-60 for 8gb of ram.

Sorry but you'd be lookin at a price tag of around $170 or more, if thats not in your price range you might want to look at used pc's on ebay and check for some newer generation cpu's.

Comes out holding a 6950X is awesome! (free CPU)

Eats 1080s, that is expensive. No wonder they say raising a child is expensive. Haha

I have a evga 600watt and the MoBo is a GA-MA78GM-US2H. The 200$ won't break the bank.

Also the baby has everything needed. It just doesn't hurt to have the extra emergency cash on case of who knows what.. in the given case eating 1080 >-<
