PWM Chassi fans showing up as single fan (NA rpm) in BIOS

So I´ve got 5 fans in my chassi all connected to the fan hub on the back off the motherboard tray. My chassi is a Enthoo Evolv mAtx.

But in BIOS the only fans that show up is the CPU fan, which shows rpm, and 1 CHA fan, which shows NA rpm.

My first question is: Does the motherboard see all the fans connected to the fan hub as 1 fan?

Secondly: Why could it be that it doesn´t show the rpm?

Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about this fan controller? If so it requires a PWM control from the motherboard to be on the input of the hub where it then provides an equivalent 3 pin DC voltage control to the fans. The fans will run as a group and show up as a single fan on the motherboard.

The mobo can only get speed info from one fan off the pwm hub, typically the whichever is the first plug (should be in documentation or printed on the hub) if you want individual control you either need to plug them into individual mobo plugs or get a fan controller that lets you control them

So if I wanted to set up a fan curve for my chassi fans, that wouldn´t be possible without a fan controller?
