Depends on what you're mining. Some mining will max out everything while others will stress specific components.

it's the same as playing games, and providing the temperature of the components and PCB are all okay, it could mine for years.

If it's always super hot then surely it will. Otherwise no. Technically GTX and RX cards aren't made for 24/7 use as Quadros and firepros are but there really isn't that much difference

From my experience mining If it's a card with nothing on the vrm and memory, it could be dead in 3 months if even just a tiny aluminium heatsink on vrm or even full cover from something like a strix never had an issue card will last years.

That's a lot, Lawliet.  Kinda surprised that the 480 does that well.  My 1070 (MSI Gaming X 8GB)  does 25.5MH, which translates to around 1.9-2 mBTC per day (around 4.5EUR).  That's also Dagger Hashimoto on Nicehash.  I do let it run 24/7.

yes it would be the same and yes each time your GPU cycle you're taking a tiny bit of life out of it...it's better not to think about it though, but yes...it's the same as gaming, and yes it's slowly killing your GPU.

well, there was a youtuber miner which his gpu lasted for 3 years (and still going)... I hope that my gpu last around that much time at least or shouldnt it?

The GPU itself will last a long time. 

 

It's the fans. It fairly common to see a fan stop after 9 months of continuous use. Not a big deal, but some cards definitely have better fans than others. I've seen people just unhook their fans and mount a box fan on top of their mining rigs.
