4k Ultrawide gaming monitor

Is there currently a 4k ultrawide gaming monitor available? Thoughts or suggestions?

Thre are a couple of 3440x1440 displays, nothing higher (in the ultrawide category) as far as I know.

I think lg made one that has around 3840 horizontal but that's all that's above.

that would be super hard to drive, i would stick with 1440p ultrawide which almost have the same amount of pixels as 4k

Dont think thats a thing yet, good luck finding a GPU to push enough frames at high-ultra anyway (Unless you plan to SLI 1080TIs)

There are no 4k "gaming" monitors.  There are some monitors that claim to be gaming monitors, but as they are all 60hz and lack important features for gaming such as ULMB so they aren't actually gaming monitors.  So are there any ultra-wide ones?  No.  The first 144hz 4k gaming monitors are due out this year, will retail for around a cool $2000, and will also require at least SLI 1080ti's to even make them reasonably decent performing.

I currently have 2 galax gtx 1080 hof edition sli setup. Both are overclocked. On a single card I was running 4k with decent frames. I was thinking about upgrading to the Ti version of of them.

You'll better off waiting until Volta, you might 2way SLI the GTX 2080 or even the Titan X Volta and grab a 8k display and become bragging rights master.

I'll have to check into the upcoming ones. Thanks for the info.
