Anyway, here's a rough idea of what to get. I sacrificed the GTX 1070 for some solid peripherals... and the RX 580 + FreeSync monitor is good anyway.

Build kinda bad already TBH... $20 TIM with $40 CPU cooler? 850 pro, not 850 evo? Nvidia GPU with freesync monitor?

Could I make my own $1700 list, not based off these parts?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

It's not a completely different topic at all... just ask people to make their builds cheaper.

How do you think people feel when they go through the time and effort of making builds for you (even when you didn't even clarify your use cases) and then you completely ignore them and go off and make another thread? Christ.
