Yes there will be a minor bottleneck but it depends on the games you play.

Yes, because it already does bottleneck it in modern games of today.

However, it's likely it will still be decent by then. Maybe you won't be able to play at ultra in 3 years but performance should still be quite good.

There is not a single modern game that requires an i7. In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that even in three years there probably still won't be any games that actually require an i7.

But still, that i5 will bottleneck you GTX 1070 at high refresh rates.

Playing at 1440p/4K however removes the CPU bottleneck since it makes the GPU the "bottleneck" instead.

 

If you play at 60Hz you're fine. Wont notice a thing.
