could i use this to wipe off thermal paste?

im using MX-4 and i would like to clean it would these be fine?

Yep. Basically paper towels and rubbing alcohol so if you already have it then use it. Wipe the majority off with dry paper towels and then use alcohol on a paper towel to get any remnants.

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

i have 100 of them fast aid things cost me 2£ :D

Then use those. Use something dry to get most of it off first though. Then use those to clean it really well.

You can just use a wet paper towel too. You don't need alcohol, water works fine.

I use dry paper towel and then finish it with in alcohol soaked paper towel for cleaning glasses.
