How to use a Syma x5c camera on another RC aircraft?

I have a Syma x5c camera laying around and a plane that I want to record video from. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the Syma x5c on my plane. My plane is using this receiver. I tried hooking the camera wires up to a channel on my reciever hoping I could directly control it from that but it won't let me. The camera turns on but won't record. How do I do this? Do I set it up as a separate system with some sort of button or switch to start recording? Please help!

No you can't. You can buy an FPV Setup. Look for an FPV AIO. Buy some screen or googles with a built in dvr. Now you can fly using that feed and fly. Since fpv has almost zero latency.

this isnt for fpv, this is for recording video. i know fpv, i race

FPV has almost the same quality as that syma camera.

yes but i already have that camera, vs having to buy another one

yes but i dont wnat to have to take the fpv camera off my quad every time i want to record video on my plane, also a lot of times one of my friends will fly my quad while i fly my plane
