Cheap bendable PCI cable

Mjello fellow master race

I'm looking for at PCI-e cable, short, to use in a custom build I'm currently working on. I wan't to have my gpu lying down (like the motherboard) to save space, as I'm trying to make it as small as possible. Anyone know about a cheap cable? Also I have never used such a cable before, I'm only aware that they exist, so is there anything I should be warry about when using such a cable?

You can't use cheap cables. You need to get a 1000$ wireworld cable!

What you need is PCIE riser

I think they all work the same so look up reviews of it before buying

Actually, they don't... They need to be properly insulated, otherwise you will run into many weird issues.... Good PCIe risers cost $100 or more..

You will want to get a good quality extension or riser that is properly shielded or you can run into stability of performance issues. Here is an example of a good one:

He's poking fun at a video Linus made about super-expensive cables that work no better than cheap-O discount bin cables. (HDMI)

I have used the EZDIY riser cable, and it is definitely the best made one under $100, but it still suffers the issue that it is highly sensitive to bending, the same way that the cheapest ones are. Still, I believe that it is better quality enough to justify the 2x-3x cost compared to the cheapest ones.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

If you don't care which way the GPU faces, you are much better off with a hard (PCB) 90 degree riser card, versus a flexible riser cable. The fact that it doesn't flex means that you get better signal integrity and it will last much longer.
