How are the 1440p @ 144hz Monitors Now?

Currently I am using a 4k tv and a 144hz TN panel @ 1080p, I am planning a new build around Ryzen 1700x, after selling my I7-6900k setup, I want to know which 1440p @ 144hz monitor should i chose? In the past the Acer and Asus models were bad for back-light bleeding! Even today i still see that they are still having problems! I have recently checked out the AOC AG271QX 27" and it has QC problems too! Is this because of the technology or what? I need a good gaming monitor to play on without QC issues!

Well first things first, do you plan to buy a nvidia or amd gpu?

I have a GTX 1080 i had from my I7-6900k build. LoL It was not part of the deal when i sold my old system.

Well 1440p monitors are great, I used to have one, I downgraded because. I bought a better cpu. But they are totally worth it, look into some G-Sync monitors if you plan to keep your gtx 1080.
