If you are looking for something higher than 1080p, I would recommend you a 27" 1440p which in my country(Romania) costs around 250$ to 300$.  You could also go for a good 24" 1080p which is less expensive. It all depends on your budget.

Hi,

you'd probably be better off with a 1440p 27" display, or, a 34" 1440p ultrawide - very very good for productivity.

I personally picked up the LG34UC88-B 3440*1440p 34" ultrawide which features Freesync. It's not a cheap choice but still less expensive than G-sync equiped ultrawides, and your configuration should have no problem driving that resolution at 60FPS in pretty much all AAA titles.
