EVGA 1070 FTW Overclocking issue

Hey guys (Another one? I'll have to rethink my intro)

So lately I tried to overclock my 1070 FTW card from its stock base clock of 1607MHz up to 2000MHz. At first, it went smoothly. But when I try to push it to 2100MHz, things started to get pretty dang hectic. When I try to launch FireStrike, the screen went black and after 2 minutes, as I was going to shut the PC down and pull the card out, it came back on and poof, the computer doesn't recognize the card's driver anymore. I then turned the card back down to 1900MHz, things started to get  back to normal

Anyone experienced this? If yes, should I put a waterblock on it or send it back to EVGA?

Nothing unusual, not every card will oc to 2.1Ghz.

Go for the max oc you can, with gpu boost you might get 2.1Ghz sometimes during gaming.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.
