No mice on my computer are being detected

Every mouse I connect  on my PC doesn't work. There's no curser that come so up

It's Windows 8.1 all my other USB devices work just not my mice. There's no way of me checking if it's in device manager as I can't open the tab

Windows key + R  then type  devmgmt.msc
press tab and use the arrow keys to expand devices
