Duh... did you read up on the specs of the VelociRaptors? Where did you get the idea that it was 2007? Were you on a time machine or something?

 

I don't see any downgrading in regards to the dual card setup of 8 GB Radeon RX 480. Where did you get that idea from?

Valve used VelociRaptors for their PC's back in 2004, they are not fast in 2016, but they were fast 10 years ago.

VelociRaptors are just 10k RPM HDDs, so they are slightly faster HDDs (They are not even the fastest HDDs)

GTX 1080 SLI will thrash a RX 480 CF. The GTX 1060 is the GPU that competes with the RX 480.

I would say it's not compatible, because your pci-e extension isn't compatible for your gpus that need 8-pin connector.
