Suggestions for an i7-6700 (non-K) cooler

Hi all

I'm planning to buy an i7-6700 and a cooler to go with it. However, most recommendations for skylake coolers i can find are for unlocked i7's.

Looking for a good allround option as well as a quiet option.

Honestly, the stock cooler will work just fine since its non overclockable so temps are kept in check just fine with the stock.

May I ask why don't you want to buy K version of CPU?

It have higher clock and better results at stock. And it also provide some headroom for future OC if you will need it :)

But if you are sold on that non K version, you can even use stock cooler. Skylake is nott a hot chip, so stock cooler will do just fine :)

budget is 40-50 euros max (~50-60$ ?)

The main reason for buying an i7 is for doing music production.

I went with the non K version because it + Z mobo + OC cooler is not in my budget

Be Quiet BK009 Pure Rock, BK010 Be Quiet Shadow Rock Slim, BK002 Shadow Rock LP???

Or a good old Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo???

All of those should be inside your budget range, and are all good for the future if you ever want to upgrade your cpu to the K SKU at a later date.

Have you tried using the stock cooler? It should be enough cooling already.
