3930K?

I have found an i7-3930K at a second hand store for £115 (that's around $150USD, including VAT). I have a couple of questions...

  • How trustworthy is this, it seems too good to be true?
  • Being a hexacore CPU, will it still perform in games?
  • How hard/expensive will it be to find an LGA2011 mobo to go with it?

It's CEX, which, not gonna lie, does have a bit of a reputation.

They do say they'll demo anything, but I doubt they have a test bench under the counter to stick it into.

There was also a 4460 for £95, which, after an eBay trip, seems a little more reasonable of a purchase, but I'm still tempted to have a way over-the-top CPU in my budget system.

They should do, ik the CEX here has one since my friend got them to test a Fury X for him (who trades in a fury x??)

That completely changes my view of CEX, thanks for the info, and, yeah, who does trade in a Fury X?
