if i get i5, how many watt should i purchase? I dont like EVGA, seasonic is better I think.

thank you for your information.

No impact if you get an i7 in any modern titles.

EVGA has plenty of good units, what don't you like about them? Their support team is outstanding and they have plenty of solid PSUs like the B2/GS/GQ/G2/P2, etc.

An i5 doesn't use drastically less power so you can get the same PSU for either CPU.

I am planning on getting PSU seasonic platinum full modular, but idk how many WATT should I get for PSU? Help me please.

I am planning on building my PC with the specs below:

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0Ghz Up To 4.2Ghz

Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1

Graphics Card: MSI Geforce GTX 970 4096MB DDR5

CPU Cooler: Kraken X61

RAM: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX PC25600 16GB (2X8GB)

Storage: Samsung SSD 500GB EVO 850

Case: NZXT S340 Black

a 500 would be more than enough for that

maybe get something around 600 or 700 so that you can upgrade in the future to more powerful stuff

"better" is pretty subjective

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if either card would work fine for him.

it's pretty much hard on better very objectively - more fps per watt, more fps per dollar

I'd say use cases should be taken into account here. FPS isn't exactly everything, especially if he does shit like Photoshop on the side.

But as I said, more than likely the 390 would be a better choice for OP.

didn't you read? he prefers NVIDIA, stop with your rebrandeon parade already, will you?

I'd strongly recommend that, if this PC is for gaming and not streaming or video editing, you get an i5 6600k and an R9 390. An i7 won't have an appreciable impact on the performance of games.

Nonetheless, an EVGA 650GQ would be perfect regardless of the GPU/CPU you choose.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
