ROG SWIFT PG348Q is apparently without ULMB...Shame Asus...

WhiteSkyMage

And so another false advertisement from Asus. What is the problem? Why won't they add it?

Ultra Low Motion Blur CAN operate at 100Hz right? Why isn't it there then? So much this marketing and in the end, there is NO mention of it here...

Not to mention that Acer did the exact same thing - market it with ULMB and then LIE about it. You...should be...SUED for this!

Nah, I don't care about Asus anymore since my experience with their monitor RMA. Had to RMA several times for dead pixels and stuff behind the screen. Their QC is absolute crap on their high-end monitors so I wouldn't buy this anyways.

I thought all gsync monitors came with ulmb although they can't both be used at the same time.

Apparently, not with Asus, nor Acer. Both companies suck. Avoid. Look for Dell, LG, Samsung.

Guys the only monitor you want, if you are to go Ultrawide, is the one that's rumored to come this year from Samsung - 144hz 1440p ultrawide. Anything else sucks. If you wanna go just 16:9 1440p then the Dell S2716DG should do it. It's still a TN, but it looks like a better choice for its price than those overpriced Asus and Acer monitors. Acer won't repair their problem and Asus don't give a crap.

If you are talking about any ASUS monitors with AU Optronics (ACER) panels, then that is the reason it had problems, AU Optronics has awful QC, which is why the monitors have a large amount of backlight bleed/IPS glow, if you look at ASUS monitors not using AU Optronic panels, they are much better, so AU Optronics is the problem

Samsung are not making a 3440x1440p 144hz panel, it is only 100hz

AU Optronics are making a 3440x1440p VA 144hz panel (AU Optronics, awful QC and their VA panels have awful response times, so not for gaming) which will come out Q1 2017, as they start manufacturing the panel in Q2 2016

its not a 'bad' thing i just think that for overclocking its optimal to have 8+6pin for additional power(even then my gpu doesn't overclock at all without display drivers crashing)

Yeah, I don't know but for some reason I keep thinking it is IPS. Still a great monitor compared to the competition.

Hold on, I thought you were talking about the Strix, not the EVGA FTW GPU

The GTX 970 Strix only gives an 8 pin because the GTX 970 is not a high end GPU, even most of the GTX 980ti GPUs only use 1 8 pin and 1 6 pin, which is not needed on a GTX 970
